All landowners affected by the construction of pipeline have received the proposal of expropriation with the offer of compensation.

In order to receive the compensation, landowners or land users must complete and send to MEPIU the request for payment of compensation, along with the justification documents, confirming the ownership or use rights on the land affected by the construction works.

The compensations will be paid within 60 working days period from the date of receipt by MEPIU of the request for payment of the compensation.
The compensation will be paid in cash, in MDL, through the subdivisions of “Posta Moldovei”, upon presentation of the identity document.

It is worth mentioning that the construction of Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline is declared as objective of national interest.
The expropriation procedure is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 105 of 09.06.2017.
