The Project includes the construction of the gas transport pipeline with a length of 120 km, three natural gas delivery stations and equipment for Ghidighici Operation, Administrative and Maintenance (OAM) complex.

The works will be carried out by Vestmoldtransgaz, the estimated construction period is 23 months.

Construction of Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline represents a continuation of Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline.

The aim of the project is to ensure the energy security of the Republic of Moldova by diversifying the sources of gas supply.
