On March 28 the Contract for Pre-Design and Bidding Documents’ Preparation has been launched. Its scope of services covers the elaboration of the pre-design and bidding documents for the construction of overhead high-voltage transmission line Vulcanesti-Chișinău and modernization of substations Vulcanesti and Chișinău.

In the kick-off meeting have participated representatives of MEPIU, Moldelectrica and experts of the consultant selected to carry out the abovementioned tasks - intec-GOPA International Energy Consultants.

The expected date of the proposed tasks completion is October 30, 2019.

The activities are financed by the Europe and Central Asia Capacity Development (ECAPDEV) Trust Fund and are part of activities for preparation of the MOLDOVA POWER SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
The Project's goal is to increase the capacity and improve the reliability of the power transmission system of Moldova.
